State Theatre brings a varying selection of musicians, lecturers, dancers, and comedians to its historic 1928 stage over the course of each season. Prior performers have included musician Nanci Griffith, the resident Ithaca Ballet and talks by the Dali Lama. The theatre is located in downtown Ithaca, a mile southwest of Cornell University and two blocks south of DeWitt Park.
